Old  Default Bà Harris phá kỷ lục gây quỹ tranh cử tổng thống Mỹ
Chiến dịch tranh cử tổng thống của Phó Tổng thống Kamala Harris cho biết hôm 25/8 rằng họ đă huy động được 82 triệu USD trong Đại hội toàn quốc của đảng Dân chủ.

Chiến dịch của Phó Tổng thống Kamala Harris tới nay đă huy động được tổng cộng 540 triệu USD kể từ khi bà thay ông Biden tranh cử vào ngày 21/7, kỷ lục chưa từng có trong lịch sử các chiến dịch tranh cử, theo New York Times.

Các đại hội đảng toàn quốc thường là những khoảnh khắc gây quỹ lớn đối với các ứng cử viên tổng thống, mang đến cho những người được đề cử bốn ngày tiếp xúc hiệu quả với một lượng khán giả rộng răi, mặc dù có tính đảng phái.

Bà Harris đă có một chiến dịch gây quỹ lịch sử kể từ khi Tổng thống Biden tuyên bố vào ngày 21/7 rằng ông sẽ không c̣n t́m kiếm đề cử của đảng Dân chủ nữa.

Đại hội đảng Dân chủ diễn ra ngày 19-22 tại Chicago, tràn ngập thông điệp khuyến khích các nhà tài trợ lớn nhỏ quyên góp cho chiến dịch tranh cử của bà Harris.

Sau bài phát biểu của phó tổng thống chấp nhận đề cử của đảng Dân chủ vào tối 22/8, chiến dịch của bà Harris đă chứng kiến ​​"giờ gây quỹ tốt nhất kể từ ngày ra mắt", chủ tịch chiến dịch, Jen O'Malley Dillon, đă viết trong một bản ghi nhớ hôm 25/8, mặc dù bà không cung cấp số tiền cụ thể.

Tổng số tiền 82 triệu USD bao gồm các khoản đóng góp cho các ủy ban gây quỹ liên minh với các đảng cấp tiểu bang và quốc gia.

Bản ghi nhớ không đưa ra tổng số tiền từng ngày, nhưng ActBlue, đơn vị xử lư các khoản quyên góp trực tuyến cho nhiều mục đích tiến bộ, bao gồm cả nỗ lực của bà Harris, cho thấy nền tảng của họ đă huy động được 13 triệu USD hôm 19/8, 16,5 triệu USD hôm 20/8, 23 triệu USD hôm 21/8 và gần 37 triệu USD hôm 22/8.

Số tiền 82 triệu USD huy động được trong bốn ngày của đại hội Dân chủ gần bằng số tiền 81 triệu USD mà chiến dịch của bà Harris cho biết đă huy động được trong 24 giờ đầu tiên sau quyết định rút lui của ông Biden.

Trong khi đó, đối thủ của bà Harris là cựu Tổng thống Donald Trump không công bố số liệu gây quỹ sau đại hội đảng Cộng ḥa tại Milwaukee vào tháng trước. Chiến dịch tranh cử của cựu tổng thống thông báo ông huy động được 327 triệu USD tiền mặt vào đầu tháng 8.
